CLIENT-THERAPIST AGREEMENT AND TERMS OF SERVICE
This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Gunel Selio, hereinafter referred to as "the Therapist," and the Client, hereinafter referred to as "the Client," concerning the provision of homeopathic treatment services.
1.0 RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE OF SERVICE
1.1 This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions governing the professional relationship between the Client and the Therapist for the provision of homeopathic consultation and treatment. This relationship shall be founded upon mutual trust, respect, and open communication.
1.2 The Client is encouraged to disclose fully and accurately all relevant information pertaining to their health, lifestyle, and medical history, both past and present, to facilitate appropriate treatment. The Therapist's services are complementary and shall not be deemed a substitute for conventional medical diagnosis or treatment. The Client shall retain ultimate responsibility for their overall well-being and shall seek appropriate medical advice when necessary.
2.0 CONFIDENTIALITY AND DATA PROTECTION
2.1 All consultations between the Client and the Therapist shall be treated as strictly confidential. No information disclosed by the Client during sessions shall be shared with third parties without the express written consent of the Client, save as required by law.
2.2 The Therapist shall maintain all Client data securely and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Further details regarding data processing and protection policies are available at https://gunel-selio-homeopathy-eh7lm9o.gamma.site/gdpr, which the Client acknowledges having had the opportunity to review.
3.0 TREATMENT EXPECTATIONS AND PROCESS
3.1 The Therapist shall provide professional homeopathic care and guidance, including but not limited to, analysis of symptoms, discussion of lifestyle factors (including schedule, routines, sleep habits, nutrition, skincare, and exercise), and prescription of homeopathic remedies tailored to the Client's individual needs.
3.2 Homeopathy is a process designed to gently stimulate the body's inherent healing capabilities. The duration and extent of progress shall be contingent upon the severity and chronicity of the Client's symptoms at the commencement of treatment, as well as the Client's adherence to the treatment plan.
3.3 The Client acknowledges that the healing process may necessitate patience and that gentle detoxification may be involved. The Client may anticipate positive changes in sleep, mood, and energy early in the treatment, with steady progress regarding physical symptoms thereafter.
3.4 The Client is hereby advised that, in accordance with the homeopathic principle known as the 'Law of Cure,' previously experienced symptoms may temporarily reappear during the course of treatment. Such occurrences shall be considered indicative of deeper healing processes and not adverse reactions or therapeutic failures.
4.0 THERAPIST'S COMMITMENT
4.1 The Therapist shall act with honesty, transparency, professionalism, and without judgment in all interactions with the Client.
4.2 The Therapist shall be contactable by email for queries pertaining to the Client's homeopathic treatment. The Therapist allocates specific time for email correspondence from Monday to Thursday; however, response times may vary subject to the Therapist's schedule.
4.3 The Therapist shall be unavailable for direct communication on Fridays and shall not respond to emails outside designated work hours. In the Therapist's absence, an appointed assistant shall respond to urgent communications.
5.0 CLIENT'S OBLIGATIONS
5.1 The Client shall prioritize and value scheduled appointments, acknowledging that such time is specifically reserved for their consultation.
5.2 The Client shall promptly communicate any concerns or dissatisfaction regarding the treatment or the professional relationship with the Therapist.
5.3 The Client shall adhere to the prescribed treatment plan and recommendations as discussed during consultations.
6.0 PAYMENT TERMS
6.1 The Client shall remit payment for services rendered prior to the scheduled appointment time. In the event of an inability to comply with this term, the Client shall promptly notify the Therapist to discuss alternative payment arrangements.
6.2 Any additional remedies or advice requested by the Client between scheduled appointments shall incur supplemental charges. Such charges shall include, but not be limited to, the time expended for preparation and postage of remedies or the provision of ad-hoc advice.
6.3 Failure to make timely payments may, at the Therapist's sole discretion, result in the suspension or termination of services.
7.0 CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
7.1 The Client shall receive an email confirmation upon booking an appointment, and an automated reminder shall be dispatched five (5) days prior to the scheduled appointment date.
7.2 The Therapist's primary practice days are Mondays and Tuesdays. The Client shall provide a minimum of two (2) working days' notice for any request to reschedule an appointment. This notice period shall exclude the weekend immediately preceding the scheduled appointment.
7.3 In the event of a late cancellation, defined as notice provided less than two (2) working days prior to the appointment, a fee equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the total consultation fee shall be payable by the Client. Notwithstanding this, if the Therapist is able to fill the vacated appointment slot from a waiting list, the Client shall be notified, and said fee may be waived at the Therapist's discretion.
7.4 In the event of a "no-show" (failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification), the full consultation fee shall be due and payable by the Client, and future appointments may be subject to prepayment or cancellation at the Therapist's discretion.
8.0 LAST MINUTE ADJUSTMENTS
8.1 Should the Client anticipate a delay in attending a scheduled session, the Client shall promptly notify the Therapist via message or email. The Therapist acknowledges that unforeseen circumstances may arise and shall endeavor to accommodate such delays where practicable, without prejudice to the scheduled appointment duration.
9.0 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1 The Therapist shall perform services hereunder with reasonable care and skill. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Therapist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) the Client's use of or inability to use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of the Client's transmissions or content.
9.2 The Therapist's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client to the Therapist for the specific services giving rise to the claim during the preceding six (6) month period.
10.0 GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
10.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10.2 Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be subjected to good faith negotiation between the parties. If such negotiation proves unsuccessful, the parties agree to seek resolution through mediation prior to pursuing litigation.
